Cocina al Fondo is an award-winning kitchen helmed by James Beard Award-winning Chef Natalia Vallejo (Best Chef South, 2023). The first Puerto Rican to ever take home a coveted designation from the acclaimed foundation. Chef Vallejo has been featured in numerous outlets including Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, San Francisco Chronicle, Eater, The New York Times, BBC,Repeating Islands, Lonely Planet,Lonny,Travel & Leisure,Downtown, Forbes, NPR, USA Today, Axios, Broken Palate, Lonny, Downtown Magazine, and Next to name a few.
