In 2018, Vallejo was featured in Food & Wine, Lonely Planet, the San Francisco Chronicle, the James Beard blog, Repeating Islands, and Lonny among others. In 2019 Cocina Al Fondo was featured in Travel & Leisure in an article on where to eat in San Juan, Bon Appetit, Downtown, and Next to name a few. In 2020, Natalia was nominated by the James Beard Foundation in two categories: Best Chef: South and Best New Restaurant (Cocina al Fondo). She was also profiled and her restaurant was featured in a variety of outlets including in Eater, Bon Appetit, and The New York Times.
